bedtime stories
I wanted to make a little perspective tutorial, which necessitated drawing something for fun with absolutely no pressure. I flipped through my sketchbook, found this kid, and drew a scene for her.

Inktober: Day 1 (aka smol and tol)
I’m already so proud of myself tbh. I so rarely draw characters interacting but I am really happy with how this turned out. Like, it’s not perfect but that’s okay, that’s what Inktober is for 🙂
EDIT: my first note for improvement is tangents… because without colour a bad tangent can make a picture a lot harder to read. In this one the little girl’s hand kinda looks like a beard for the older girl and if I’d been paying attention to tangents that wouldn’t have happened. I do miss the forgiving nature of digital art already 😛

oh no. oh noooooooo.

everything else about today’s drawing is frustrating me right now, but not these two 🙂
